Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker in HD on Wii U
January 31st 2013 21:17
I think we all breathed a sigh of relief after Nintendo held their recent "Nintendo Direct" video announcement.
So many games and so many plans. I, for one, was getting a little concerned for the system. It had appeared throughout 2012 that Nintendo wasn't plotting its success in the home console business nearly as well as it had with the runaway hit Wii.
Alas, Nintendo proved many wrong. In fact, many Nintendo fans who had been disenchanted with the company and its recent offerings were once again bounded to purchase its latest system. Why? Zelda.
Not only did Nintendo announce work on a whole new Zelda that would bring the series into the 21st century, but it also announced plans to launch an HD remake of the Gamecube classic Wind Waker to tide fans over for the few years it'll take to create a next-gen title.
Way to please the fans Nintendo, touché.
Let's hope they fix some of the "fetching" issues towards the end of the game. Maybe some of the annoying sailing issues. And perhaps make the boss battles a little harder.
What are you thoughts?
