Wii HD

It's time for the Wii HD.
Microsoft is almost ready to release Natal, and by all insider reports, the technology behind it is amazing. Similarily, Sony will soon release the Playstation Move. HD motion gaming with better precision than the non- motion plus Wii controller.
So where does that place Nintendo? With waning sales and less than stellar third party sales. It positions the Wii system as an inferior product.
Now let's not kidd ourselves, the Wii has sold that many consoles that all the execs at Nintendo could potentially retire tomorrow.
But it in our capitalist society, more is better and no one is satisfied with what they've got.
Nintendo is rumoured to have already made the plans for the HD console. In fact, rumours were surfacing about it's release within the first year of the Wii'd release (back when Nintendo didn't think anyone would be buying an HD TV for many more years down the track).
By all insider accounts, the Wii HD should be released next year and will be seen as an attempt by the Big N keep a tight clenched fist on the motion control market in the face of stringent competition. The Wii HD should of course be backward compatible.
Titles should already be worked on, such as a next gen Zelda and next gen Mario. We already know Nintendo is hard at work on the next Zelda, like the Wii, it should launch with a big title such as this.
Perhaps they could make the next Zelda work on both the normal Wii, and upped graphics for the new Wii HD.
Whatever happens down the track, Nintendo is poised to lose a truck load of customers willing to upgrade, if they don't upgrade themselves.
